Jasmine Hemans is a Licensed Social Worker in the state of PA and works with H&L as an independent contractor. She obtained her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Howard University in Washington, DC. Jasmine has over a decade of experience working in the mental health field with clients from various cultural backgrounds. She has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. She utilizes a client centered approach to therapy and helps clients learn how to use their strengths to work through their challenges. She has experience providing CBT, DBT, Solution Focused Therapy, and Play Therapy and tailors interventions to each client. Jasmine works with individuals presenting challenges that come with trauma, anxiety, depression, and codependency. She also works with families to foster a strong foundation of communication and respect with the goal of helping to build or rebuild connections that are lost or feel absent. Jasmine is an LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist.
