What Qualifications Are Required?

  • Commitment to Cultural Competency: Demonstrate an interest in working with culturally and diagnostically diverse clients, including marginalized groups
  • LGBTQIA+ Competency: Competency working with the LGBTQIA+ community is preferred, novices in this area will have the opportunity for consultation
  • License: Maintain an unrestricted license to practice in Pennsylvania 
  • Clearances: Possess Childline, State Police, and FBI clearances
  • Commitment: Dedicate a minimum of 25 hours per week to providing therapeutic services
  • Team Player: Uphold professionalism, cultural competence, and a collaborative spirit
